A introduction into The Sokka Project

Summary

The Sokka Project is an initiative to expand the internet, inform users, and make technology as a whole more accessible and comfortable to the good people of this world (go away bad people!)

From building apps, websites, APIs, or just hacking your operating system - I've got you covered with carefully built guides and articles tailored to help people develop their proficiencies in programming and technology as a whole. I also provide a vast selection of Free Open Source Software (FOSS) as services from this project. These are free and available for any-and-everyone to avail of, copy, modify, and deploy themselves.

I am Dasho. I am a student, and an amateur developer working lonesomely on The Sokka Project. I create solutions to many different problems in the world of tech. I help others do the same. Part of my work has led to a vast amount of experience across multiple domains and languages. Python, Golang, C++, PHP, JavaScript, Bash just to name a few of such languages. I'm also experienced in the MEAN and LAMP/WAMP stacks, including system administration, and efficient DevOps. If not all this makes sense to you here, and you're interested in finding out more - check out the Programming guides.

The Sokka Project is a revamp of The Onionz Project (TOP) which was run as a revamp of the Do-Not-Know Project (DNK). Our team really love revamping stuff.

DNK was a web-project designed to make the web more accessible to everyone, while respecting their privacy and financial restrictions. Every thing that DNK provided was FREE and allowed for complete anonymity, although you did need to smart about that yourself. DNK could have been self-hosted for added privacy, and it’s package got larger every day. (Or week, or month, or year).

The same applied to TOP, but TOP grew into something much more. With the addition of Dashed Droplets, people could easily set up clearnet and darknet sites easily and for free. Various encryption settings and protocols were (and still are being) use that applied to each service provided by TOP. However, it served its purpose and its time, and has evolved once again.

The Sokka Project now provides even better resources and services. With better infrastructure in place, and cleaner, safer, and faster code, The Sokka Project is now the next milestone on Dasho's development timeline.
